While it was great to learn this week that the village of Pleasantville beat out the scents of large cities across the globe by being ranked in GQ magazine as the #2 best smelling "city" in the world - closer to home we can proudly say Pleasantville offers the best in so many other ways too!
I'm a little partial - but Pleasantville has many exemplary businesses, shops, restaurants, professionals, etc., that is was easy to fill out my ballot in Westchester Magazine's annual Best in Westchester survey. I urge you to support your local favorites and take a minute to nominate your picks in 25 categories by clicking on the ballot box above and sending in your vote by February 7th. Look for the winners to be announced this summer!

All Pleasantville busineses may submit a nomination for their choice for the 2011 Pleasantville Business Person of the Year.
To particpate, complete the form that we recently mailed and mail by February 15th or click here and tell us who you'd like to nominate now! Be sure to include your name and business or organization.
In the next step of the process, Chamber members will have an opportunity to select the winner from among the top two contenders. The 2011 Business Person of the Year will be feted at an event in April.
